sometimes Bella just stands still so I just fucking run into her on accident because she was making no noise, I hear big footsteps on approach(but she hasn't come into view) i scurry into a nearby room and for a solid 10 seconds silence, then i crouch and sneak my way out wondering where she went and turn a corner she's been standing on the stairs a couple of meters away YOINK game over, defititely gives me dead by daylight flashbacks like she's just fucking waiting for me to sneak my way right in her face on the stairs because she was making no noise while a fun way to ambush the player hiding knowing theres only one way out of most rooms if she ever did spot me(and she knows I'm near) i dislike it when she just goes stationary and makes no noise despite having never spotted me.
Personally to me this feels a bit like a Nitpick I mean I kinda enjoy the random surprises Bella can give you I once just started the game and I knew Bella spawns in the cafeteria so once I explored the second floor I decided to move down to the cafeteria assuming she left by then but when I got down there I heard footsteps I assumed she was still in the cafeteria and coming towards the stairs to I began to go back but she was actually right behind me it was funny for me she somehow walked all the way around the school just to get behind me she surprises me so much with how fast she can move by just walking it was a fun surprise for me I some times feel like she can Teleport LOL through I can understand where your coming from this is just my opinion.
it is a little nitpicky, but honestly I don't mind her ambushing me outside a room when she saw me go in, I just didn't like where she did it without much warning(I have wised up to her standing there for a long while outside rooms, to me that's makes some sense that room only has one exit and she's waiting there to remind the player that there's only one way out) I'm guessing she heard me when she ambushed me in this scenario, if she standing still without spotting the player recently I'd rather if she made seductive taunts, humming, more common belly rumbling anything to indicate that she's in the area if she's gonna sit still for so long.
Not a nitpick. Her going idle is random and the max time is 16 seconds. I put this feature in so that it is not too easy to get keys and in bonus it does provide a bit of surprises. When you know the map and feel like you have been everywhere but have not heard her, dropping a key can sorta check for her. I am monitoring how often she does this and how problematic it can be.
I have been having lots of fun with this game! I thought of a few suggestions. The possibility of Bella not being "hostile" all the time is something i would consider interesting, perhaps she could have a "hunger" meter that dictates her behaviour a bit (it could be communicated to the player through the use of stomach sounds), this could help the player to locate Bella when she is "hungry" and therefore, most dangerous. Now that hunger meter would offer the option of changing Bella´s behaviour slightly, as she gets hungrier. A quick example: -Stuffed: ignores the player completely, and doesn't move too much -Satisfied: Walks around, wont try to swallow the player (perhaps even give the option to give her food to make Bella stay like this for longer) -Peckish: If Bella spots the player she will walk towards them, if she gets close enough and there's no other npc around she could swallow the player -Hungry: Will chase after the player, but might swallow any other npc that gets too close to her -Ravenous: Takes more prey to satisfy, will chase anything, less movement penalty when digesting other npc´s. Takes more prey to be reverted back to satisfied -Voracious: She can smell you
I personally think this could work well here, allowing players to beat the game by making sure Bella is never too hungry and using other preys to buy time. (Could even add a way to pull other preys towards Bella) Now all i said could be completely stupid for reasons im unaware of, or simply not fit in the game. If that's the case im sorry i wasn't of more help. If you did like it/were already thinking about something like this, then great!
As i said at the start i really liked the game and im eager to see how it turns out!
The suggestion is not stupid but I it is possibly unfit since it seems like complex mechanics especially for a new player to understand. Although right now I fear it might be too simple. Find keys, avoid pred, escape.
From my understanding (as a consumer), complex mechanics can be introduced as long as they are effectively explained, but of course effectively explaining a mechanic in depth can be quite problematic.
I do think that adding something like stomach sounds can help the player locate Bella if she decides to stand still for some time
for a while i just straight up didn't beleive that she ate the other two, she walked right past them most of the time when they're alone(im hiding in a nearby room watching to see what happens she doesn't go for em normally) but baiting her into eating all the others is a neat way to slow her down idk to what extent it slows her but you can definitely outrun her when has captured both of the others. But it makes me very happy that you implemented a belly swollen enough to accomodate all 3 of us so multivore is here straight out of the gates, wonderful! keep it up. Perhaps a far off wish but if literally nobody is left for her to hunt she should stop and just enjoy herself at that point.
Hey everybody I just wanted to ask if anybody else made up a name for the pred personally for me I like to call her Beth she kind of looks like a Beth to me I also considered the name Cindy but I'm curious if anybody else made up a name for her?
So far the game the game is a bit confusing for me.
Firstly, every time I was caught I just wasn't able to get out. I thought that I needed to do something like inputs, but after reading some of the comments here I realised that escaping is completely rng-based. I don't really like that. IMO it's better to have some uneasy mini-game rather than relying on RNGesus. Especially after in one of the comments you said that the chances are low (or not exactly that).
Secondly, i thought that the students were here just to fill some space, but it turns out that preds can actually eat them while they're chasing you. I also got to know that after reading comments.
Third things third, how do apples work? Do you need to have it in your inventory when you're caught or do you need to drop them before a pred? And what any of the apples do? What difference is there between a green one and a red one?
Also, some suggestions:
1. Please increase the base sensivity in this game. It is far too low. Even when maxed, it still takes almost a whole mouse space just to turn 90-120 degrees.
2. Imo you should make different footsteps sound for the MC. The current one may confuse new players.
3. I think a "peek" would be really good here. You can come at the door frame and peek to the side. This way you can watch out for any pred without a risk to be seen.
4. I believe preds are just a little bit too fast. They can close the distance in almost no time. Yes, to stop the chase you need to cut the LoS, but they can also hear you. This means you can't just run to a potential hiding spot (behind a table for example), you need to walk (or even crouch) to it. And when you're walking, i believe preds are like 10 times faster than you are. So you might just be not close enough to hide. I get the idea that the player needs to avoid preds by any means, but chase should also be "winnable".
5. Maybe it's just me but when I hear pred being on the lower floor exactly underneath me it sounds like she's right next to me on the same floor. If that's not only my thing, I think you should fix that.
Btw, since I wasn't able to finish the game so far, I don't really know the goal of the game. I guess you need to escape the school, but where is any door/gate that will lead outside? I also wasn't playing the game for some time, so I might just forgot.
Also, I noticed that small students sometimes start running and stop after, like, a second. Is that intentional? If so, that's pretty neat actually.
Apples increase your chances of escaping the same goes for crumbled paper through apples are the real star of the show.
Personally for me I enjoy the RNG based system because you can sorta manipulate it by having a apple in your inventory or feeding a student to the Pred It adds a sense of strategy and also makes being eaten by the Pred more tense through I can understand you point but personally for me I prefer the RNG system.
There is a facts section when you pause the game which shows a different one each time you pause. I am updating it to show other facts by button instead of pausing the game each time
Sensitivity will be increase by 2x in the next update.
I do not think ill be able to change the footstep sound due to what is in store for updates to come.
You can peek quickly at preds but if they are looking your way I want it to always be risky.
I lowered this pred's speed to just about as much as I can. Any slower and you might be able to outrun them. I have seen a couple of feedback regarding the difficulty of getting away from preds if chased. I will consider making it easier. On top of that there are some changes coming to make things easier and a huge nerf to this pred.
The volume of sounds when the pred is on a different floor will be decreased.
Escape through the exit door after finding exit key is how you win the game.
do you mean the walking for the small students? If so then yes. Running is supposed to be a somewhat rare condition for them.
Love what you have here so far! The concept of trying to escape while a pred hunts you down is always fun! I like how the game is difficult if you aren't careful, making sure you plan your next actions without being caught. My only two gripes with the game is trying to struggle free from the pred and the importance of the other students. I would love to see a more refined struggle system that encourages inputs to escape from within the pred, instead of just holding down a button and hoping that luck will get you out. And as for the other students, I feel like they should be able to be targeted easier. there has been many times where I was being chased by the pred and I would go right behind a student, lining it up with the pred's line of sight, but instead the pred just moves around the student and heads straight for me Other than that, this game is amazing and has a ton of potential! Would love to see what other cute gals you have planned for being preds!
I personally enjoy the totally luck-based struggling. Less of an active thing, but more of an agonizingly suspenseful wait. It raises my hopes, crushes my dreams, and makes me feel like THIS IS THE RUN every time I somehow make it out.
(Incidentally, it has only been "the run" once so far, and I didn't even get eaten in that one...) EDIT: Speaking of crushed dreams, tfw the apple goes free, but not me ; ~;
Pro Tip: Keys make a very audible and distinct noise when anything touches them. Littering the halls with spare keys can be quite useful, for a careful and resourceful student...
Moreover, dropping not-so-spare-worthy keys before rounding risky corners is also quite a decent habit.
The only time I've actually managed to do this was in the bathroom - with the other rooms (that she doesn't enter), she just never seems to break aggro.
One time when I was Running from the Pred I thought I saw a Purple apple in the cafeteria but I got eaten before I could get a better look at it I know it could have been a key but I just wanted to confirm it. is there a Purple variant of the apple?
Keep up the good work, enjoying this game almost as much as when Granny first came out! Also I am a bit of a wimp and also kind of dense so she jumpscared me the first couple times round as I didn't know there was a sound based stealth or movement detection system. Also I think being able to sneak up and force your way inside the pred would be pretty funny, maybe a surprised animation before she sucks you in.
Might I recommend appending something like a version number/identifier to the .zip download? I think it would do well to mitigate future "is the game updated" queries, among other things. EDIT: Somewhere or something for reporting bugs might also be worth considering, so we don't end up flooding your comments with them ; w; On that note, I noticed that the player's stepping sounds are duplicated when walking diagonally (since we are walking in basically two directions at the same time, I guess it's playing the sound for both). It give Cinq the spooks every time.
I will see if I can put the update version of the game when I update it.
Bugs being reported here is fine. I do not think it will flood the comments since I know most of the bugs. Ideas to fix the tough ones come to me over time.
I will look into the walk sounds when moving diagonal. I did notice it but after alot of testing I probably got used to it.
You are supposed to lose all items you had when caught. Also you can not drop items when you are being chased. Certain items like keys will be spit out by the pred after a short time.
This game is pretty fun. I think a cool addition would be that before the game over screen her belly should shrink back down, further implying that the player was digested. Another thing I think would be cool (if possible) would be once caught by the pred it could show her swallowing our character model, like it shows her pick us up and swallow us or show at least our legs sticking out of her mouth before getting pulled down as she swallows.
I plan on changing the way the gameover screen shows up.
I also plan on making a proper animation for when the pred catches you but it most likely will not be added since I already failed in an attempt I made previously.
I am no animator or game creator, but I bet you could make a good vore animation for when the player is caught, even if such a feature were to take some time to implement. I am confident you could make a good one (no pressure intended). Never the less I do look forward to seeing this game's progression and I wish you good luck with it.
It is possible but for the female preds the ideas of what they are going to be are already set and there will be 3-4 of them including the one in the game now.
a nice vore game so far i like it there need for some fix like when you get stuck to the wall on the side of the door for me i got stuck like that i could not move after that
Yeah! I also (after I posted) thought about if the pred's hunger rate could be increased after the player is digested - so there's more to actually watch at that point if there's any more prey left.
Seems awfully wasteful to leave so many prey running around... after I die within the first five minutes again ; w;
I am not sure if I can do that. The other students are just there and are not supposed to be hunted. The real purpose of the game play is to leave the school before it is too late because someone knows that you discovered something you should not.
Ah, I suppose that does explain why we're getting bullied to death and the others are just circumstantial/convenient/inconvenient snacks.
Oh, also. I think it would be ideal if Struggling were a toggle instead of holding. Helps with accessibility, and I can't really fathom a reason at this point why holding would be more optimal than just pressing F to switch between "Struggle" and "Stop Struggling".
in this case, I propose adding to the game the ability to hide, for example in a locker or under a table, but if she notices you hiding, she will simply get you out of there, also make it possible to throw objects to distract her, I would also like to suggest that you there were two attempts to escape from the stomach, one with a high chance, the second with 50% and the third a guaranteed defeat, but you can do it at your own discretion
I do like the suggestions but I do not plan to add hiding. There should not be any spot where you can go and she will never look. Each encounter should feel like a "I hope she does not come my way".
Object to distract can sorta happen already but I may make items that can be thrown to distract although I do not think it will fit.
Escaping from any pred in this game is supposed to always be a low chance but I am considering on increasing the escape chance.
I might add a poll to vote on somethings in the future so I can adjust things.
For her to eat other students normally is by time. To make her do it anytime you have to be chased and be directly behind a student when she gets close for 100% chance or next to them for a random chance.
Fun game I like it a lot but I have a few questions.
1. Does the pred have an official name yet?
2. What are the tiers of the item you can use to assist in your escape from the pred I assume Crumbled paper is the worst, apple is middle, and green apple is the best?
3. I noticed how the pred burps out bones or apple cores and loses her large belly a little bit after you feed her an apple or student. Does this signal she got rid of her speed debuff and moves at normal speed again?
Thanks it's nice to understand the game. there is one more thing I would like to ask. I noticed that your planing on adding more preds will these preds act the same as the current one? or will they have abilities to differentiate them from each other just wondering?
I hope sometime in the future we get to play as the pred, or at the very least maybe a difficulty slider to make escaping easier/harder depending on what the player wants. Besides that, the game is really fun and I look forward to seeing what you have planned for the future with this game, it's really fun!
You wont get to play as the pred but as a smaller form of them and become both a pred and prey.
Difficult is going to depend on pred select with some being harder. The one currently is supposed to be the easiest but if I see that she is too difficult, i will work on ways to make it easier.
Another quick question, do you plan on adding more maps? And if yes, will each pred have their own unique map, or will any pred be able to spawn in any map? Either way I look forward to seeing what you do next, this game is really fun!
Maybe one day I will because I do want to add a cabins in the woods type of map. This will not be added anytime soon though or possible not at all, since making the map was the hardest thing to do for me. Maps will not be pred specific. Any pred will be able to be in each map.
GhostWhisperer971, this is a really cool start to the game! I'm unable to beat it in it's current stage. Also, it seems the preds grab you a little early before they're actually on top of you. It'd be nice for some sort of saving grace like having a struggle bar. Maybe use the directional arrows to try to quickly type in a sequence correctly to escape and stun them? Or maybe something that can be thrown to stop them.
Also, do you plan on putting the prey in the vore animations down the road? That would be really nice to see.
I might be able to reduce the grab range. As for when you are caught, escaping is meant to be unlikely. I am adjusting how certain items affect preds like the green apple but I do not want to make an item that guarantees an escape if your caught; only increase the chance.
As for the animation, I have tried and failed. I also did not like the result, but I really do want to add a better animation of the prey being caught.

you should make a option for how many preys there are, and how hungry the the pred is
More preys will be set in the next update. I believe it will be like 7 and currently it is 3.
Pred being hungry increases their speed by 16%. More hunger sounds dangerous.
Dangerous? Excellent - Cinq craves a steep challenge. ALL the hunger, then!
unfortunately this next update will be a huge nerf to this pred.

Bella is the name for this pred.
Oh I see I like it I was kinda close LOL
While not a name per se, I was talking to a friend while playing this game for the first time, got spooked, and reported that "IT FOUND ME".
I have since then kept up the running gag of referring to Bella strictly as "it", "that thing", and various other nebulous and sinister appellations.
LOL that's Great
Nice so far, could use some weight gain mechanics for preds, more preys maybe in a "chaos mode"
Also preds that the more they eat the dangerous they are
In the next update there will be more preys in the map.
I might consider that pred idea.
So far the game the game is a bit confusing for me.

would you make a mode where you play as the pred instead of a pray or is that to much work?
You will be able to play as a pred just not the main pred.

Other students being grabbed is more of bonus feature. You have to be touching the other student with them directly blocking the pred from you.
Nice game but Can you add something like growing potion or shrinking potion or else playing item?
I think that would be interesting.
Thank you
I can not but there will be a small pred.
Pro Tip: Keys make a very audible and distinct noise when anything touches them. Littering the halls with spare keys can be quite useful, for a careful and resourceful student...
Moreover, dropping not-so-spare-worthy keys before rounding risky corners is also quite a decent habit.
Most likely not
would you add more vore types?
Most likely not.
Good afternoon creator, the predator saw me and follows me running to the classroom but she doesn't go away and always stays into me
She understands if you need some time in there to reflect on your fate. She's there for when you're ready.
I will update the tips when the game is paused as for now you break line of sight with the pred and croucb walk to a corner to get them to lose you.
I can not say but in the next update the rates of certain item spawns will change.
(beside the stuff about it being a W.I.P) this game is a 10/10
but will you ever add a sandbox mode
also remember not to stress out (just a friendly reminder)
Sandbox mode will not be added.
Keep up the good work, enjoying this game almost as much as when Granny first came out! Like an Animation were you crawl up her Ass?
Idfk, just something where you can "attack" her by suprising her by oral or as you said, anal.
Will you be adding other types of vore or will it purely just be oral that whole way through? (Unbirth, for example)
I do not know, so far just oral.
game got an update? thats Poggers dude
oh sorry I think updating the description counts as an update. The latest update added crouching movement.
I did notice it but after alot of testing I probably got used to it.
is one of the planned preds for this game going to be a futanari ?
also ran into a glitch where when i get out of the pred i lose the key I was holding
Futanari will not be added.
Do you think it could be possible to make a mimic type Pred that pretends to be a student?
It is possible but for the female preds the ideas of what they are going to be are already set and there will be 3-4 of them including the one in the game now.
Fair enough just an idea I wanted to throw out there lol
There will be more prey students?
I plan to add 1 extra one when the match starts and certain things will add more.
If you mean different models for the prey students then not really other than pred-prey students which are smaller versions of preds you face against.
What do you mean by 'pred-prey'? is it students that act like preds, pred that looks like a student, or the normal preds but smaller?
normal preds but smaller that can prey on others but also is prey to the main pred.
Do they also prey on the player? Or just other NPCs?
You will get to play as them but the AIs will be random. They wont really chase.
you should add different types of vore like anal
If I can make it work in the game I will.
a nice vore game so far i like it there need for some fix like when you get stuck to the wall on the side of the door for me i got stuck like that i could not move after that
yeah that happened to me as well but only once. I can not think of any reason why it happens but will be looking in to it.
It would be fun to be able to see the pred keep hunting after our inevitable demise~
In any case, wonderful game so far o uo!
Like an option to keep watching the pred even when you are dead?
Yeah! I also (after I posted) thought about if the pred's hunger rate could be increased after the player is digested - so there's more to actually watch at that point if there's any more prey left.
Seems awfully wasteful to leave so many prey running around... after I die within the first five minutes again ; w;
There are no plans for a struggle toggle as of yet.
i love it but i put the mouse sensivtivy all the way up and it still seemed slow?
I will see if I can make some changes to it in the next update.
Will this game have any Lore and also what exactly is Nightmare mode gonna be? I'm a bit curious on how it will change the game?
Nightmare mode is a secret for now.
The game does have a story. I will put it in the description sometime in the future.
I understand good luck.
very very wonderful game! dear developer you made amzing work, i have a question is there any chance that she will eat all 3 students at same time?
and to open nightmare mode you need to escape through the exit?
not at the same time as in 1 grab but yes one by one she can fit all 3.
Nightmare mode is not available yet but i am thinking about having it unlocked by escaping with the book.
oh thanks, but could you please tell me how to do it? Because she always digest faster
I think you should add that she run faster then she see you with the book(for example)
I can not really explain how to do it.
Increased speed depending on what you are holding? i will keep that in mind.
in this case, I propose adding to the game the ability to hide, for example in a locker or under a table, but if she notices you hiding, she will simply get you out of there, also make it possible to throw objects to distract her, I would also like to suggest that you there were two attempts to escape from the stomach, one with a high chance, the second with 50% and the third a guaranteed defeat, but you can do it at your own discretion
I love this simple yet voracious twist on the classic 'escape while being chased' horror game trope. I hope this gets more updates in the future
Also, how exactly does the pred work? Does she have any patterns or is she completely random?
Random. Pred will only go to your location if they hear you. Then will go after you if they see you.
How do you get her to eat other students when she chases you? Is it based on how long she has been looking for you?
She did but I keep changing the names to the point where pred1 will be the place holder name.
There is one rare item above or equal to the green apple which is not the book. I can not say.
belly size affects the speed debuff but digesting buffs speed temporarily.
Thanks it's nice to understand the game. there is one more thing I would like to ask. I noticed that your planing on adding more preds will these preds act the same as the current one? or will they have abilities to differentiate them from each other just wondering?
They will have different stats like speeds, loudness etc.
As far as act, I do want to try and make some do different things. I do not know if I will succeed.
I see Thanks and good luck with this project.
could you please pretty please add an item or game mode where your small.
I love the game just not big on same size
Very unlikely although I could possibly add a fairy that flies but even with that there alot of issues that could come with the small size.
finally got the three prey belly
add more students
Might add 1 more but in future updates, certain things will increase the number of students.
interesting game.
curious what the next pred your planning to add will be
For how simple the premise is, you've got something that's going to keep people coming back to play it.
Please keep it going, it's really good!
Edit: If you want any suggestions or ideas for UI things I'm happy to help as well.
Any pred will be able to be in each map.
when you plan to do the first update?
I have no idea. Some things take longer than I planned. There's still a good amount of things that I am trying to add.
what happens when i escape with the book? (i did it)
Unfortunately nothing as of yet.
ANYWAYS, really cool progress so far!!
