i have yet to beat bella

what does Student Predator Do?

Student Predators option will have a random chance for the predator you escaped and win to spawn as a student that’s the size of the player. If you’re also playing as a predator (Ex: Bella or Satie), you can also devour student predators as well, but they can do the same to you if they’re hungry.

(+2)

I have just beaten nightmare mode Tulpy it was a blast and I been wondering will you ever be considering adding more playable preds i would love to play as Tulpy i can understand if that would be hard to program through im just wondering if its something your planning on doing

(1 edit) (+1)

Playing as Tulpy would probably be interesting. If I may have to make a huge guess (considering that she’s a fairy), she’s probably the only Student Predator to only have one item to carry due to her small body and is one of the noisiest so far. Even when idle, her wings will constantly attract noise as if you’re always walking (And it’s prominent if you’re facing against Tulpy, or Tulpy as a Student Predator NPC). (Edit: This was written BEFORE the recent update LMAO)

But honestly, I too would love to play as a fairy to see how hard it is to manage her noisiness.

(6 edits) (+2)

so after finally getting enough time and sample sizes together for the new update this is my findings on the RNG:

how I gathered the data: playing as Bella on normal difficulty and no other students so as to get a clearer picture of raw player mechanics without the noise of other students having random pieces of paper or struggling being weaker/stronger than normal, I did at least 100 attempts for each of the 4 categories; nothing in hand, paper, red apple, and green apple with crazy apples and small red apples being sampled at 10 due to their rarity and my unwillingness to spend 20 minutes looking for one 100 times, I then repeated this on all 4 predators with my escape attempts recorded being at 1, 2, and 3 since I consider 3 escapes to be reaching in terms of the average user getting caught

now to not make this a whole essay, I am going to condense it into category highlights here:

first escapes I recorded were merely up 4% compared to the older system, wile second attempts were down by 6% and third escapes being down by 18%

nothing in hand dropped by 12%, paper fell by 16% and all apples with the exception of crazy apples went up by 4-9% with crazy apples being DOWN by 6%, take note that since this sample size is drastically smaller due to chance it's around 1 or 2 failed escapes out of 30 per pred, and finally small red apples saw 0% change due to them having a 100% failure rate

for all 4 predators there was very little deviation in each escape attempt overall, with the exception of the 2 extremes of Tulpy and Ligeska, both of which had lower total escapes, Tulpy having a total drop of around 8% and Ligeska having a total escape attempt nearly 66% decreased with first escapes now only  being less than 1% successful  with her crazy apples only succeeding 1 time out of 10 and being the only one to get me out

overall my data is trending downward in successful attempts at all stages other than first having a minor uptick... I am unsure if the old escape chance is "base" chance that we go down to after multiple escapes or if the new system put's us below that threshold as it is more apparent there are massive dropoffs at 2nd and 3rd escapes

It’s no wonder why I feel like during my normal gameplay (Without restarting every time I was spotted by an Apex Predator), the escape chances hardly even changes anything.

(+1)

I'd be interested in what you get if you repeat my test, it'd be a lot better to have multiple data sets of the same sample size to get a more accurate picture, I also added a reply that adds some clarification on the methodology

well, you'll never truly know unless you go through 15000ish games to gather 5040 data points like I did... lolAnyone got a HQ version of Coraline's dad? : r/MemeRestoration

this reply is explaining some of the stuff I have edited or feel needs to be expanded independent of the original post

expansion: my method involves the pred in an empty state, so if you get swallowed with paper and survive the first attempt my data requires her to digest the paper then you get eaten with another piece of paper to test second escape, ect for paper.  Under the Apples I made sure that the pred was not under the effect of another apple, so I DID NOT rely on escape 1 being an apple, then escape 2 being another apple ect, I SPECIFICALLY used non-apple escapes to do this and this part is by far the largest part of why I took a bit as if for every 1st escape with paper I have a 50% chance of escaping I now need to do 100 apples with that coin toss, which makes 3rd escape closer to 15% chance after normalizing data but if you want to do it I am pretty sure apples lose their effect when the pred burps them up so if you are willing to wait and stalk them for that make a note of it in your results.  I also forgot to mention the margin of error in everything is around 3% so I considered Bella and Satie's results to be the same despite them having a small percentage change due to RNG noise.  I also did not include my original/new hard numbers  numbers as it was already getting pretty long and this was directed more at the developer who has their actual RNG number chance known in their coding so the actual hard numbers were not a factor to my intent, but I would like to see everyone's hard numbers if they wish to perform this experiment to see a larger data point on how RNG percent affects gameplay chance whereas my data points are about version trends since I did this with the old version as well.  This means that in total, you need to do at least 5040 games which is...yeah, it's not fun after a while, especially the hunt for those small red and crazy apples

edits: fixed some numerical errors on second readthrough and added some additional context to crazy apple results

(+3)

hello, is their any plan to have a reverse, like the students are activily trying to get out and the player(pred) tries to stop them.

(1 edit) (+5)

Not the person you asked for, but there are two ideas where this can work:

[Devour Them All]: Devour all 30 students (40 students for Nightmare Mode) before they all escape with the same time system. AI’s will actively run away from the player when in sight and hide places where the player must look through. The twist is that the player’s hunger is always low percent (Ex: Max cap is 15%), and running now decreases hunger. After digestion, the player will get a brief boost of speed to catch up with the running students. This is akin to Nightmare Mode.

There are also traps lying around areas that stuns the Apex Player and also some students may carry apples (Ex: Green or Crazy Apple) that can make the situation even worse if the player eats them.

[Hunt Mode]: Same as Devour Them All, except you’ll have to find one student (Which is the target you must eliminate) to devour and win the game. This is similar to the regular game where you play as a prey and the predator only hunts you but mirrored that you’ll have to find them in a crowded university (30 students). The “target” will always try to hide and unlock doors on their own. The only difference is that the Apex Player will always be able to devour, and the “Target” prey will only struggle (And having very high chance of escape).

How the player will detect if the prey is their target is looking at something suspicious about them (Ex: Carrying items, different walking speeds, crouching, hiding in obscure places, etc). Also, student predators can’t be the target, and they can’t devour the target either.

(+2)

i like those idea alot, do you think it would work better with the camera where we can see around the pred like when you get eaten.

Also if you play as the pred shouldn't their be a touch like trying to stop their struggle or when they almost get out with some chance you can swallow back down the prey, like the struggle button.

And if we keep the  bell, it means after 3 times the target will find the key for the exit anyway so we only have one shot to grab them, and instead of the book we can have a rare student you have to eat.

I think it would be a very interresting concept to put on the game being the hunter instead of the hunted

(2 edits) (+3)

“do you think it would work better with the camera where we can see around the pred like when you get eaten?”

I also propose an idea for a third person perspective camera as well. Besides, we couldn’t even see what we even look like, only our arms lmao. But in this idea I proposed, It should definitely be recommended.

“trying to stop their struggle or when they almost get out with some chance you can swallow back down the prey, like the struggle button.”

I think it functions the same as if you’re a Student Predator to keep it simple.

Besides, the Target has frequent chances of upsetting the Apex Predator’s stomach, which means that if theoretically in a normal playthrough, there will be like around 8 - 15 Escape Attempt if you swallowed the Target (Empty stomach calculation only).

If it were the case for the above mechanic, then there has to be a quick time event that you’ll have to press a series of buttons every time the escape attempt pops up. It gets harder the sooner you’ll get to the point of digesting your target.

“After 3 times the target will find the key for the exit so we only have one shot to grab them”

Yeah, the bell system should be the same to keep it consistent. You’ll have about 24 minutes to either escape as a prey, or catch your target as the pred.

It would be very interesting to play as an Apex Predator, probably after rewarding for beating Nightmare Mode on each respective predators.

I have unlocked Belle how do I eat other students?

(+1)

Let your hunger drop to under 16% and then press F to eat a student when close to one. You won't be able to run as fast nor can you crouch so be careful.

(+1)

I saw in the video the predators spit, you out, so there is no need to panick.

(+3)

I’ve been wanting to say something now that this game caught my attention: Are there any plans for other means to hide from the predator?

Like a good example is hiding in the lockers (But will cause noise) or under the desk in the respective classrooms. Mainly the former, because going into the T section of the first floor is dangerous in case of the predator surprise attacking from a distance or next to me.

Another suggestion is to throw objects instead of dropping near you. What if you want to toss the paper or the key (The loudest object) to the other side of the room to lure the predator away from your hiding spot? If it were implemented, holding the drop button will increase the throwing power (And will apply to any objects).

(+1)

I have this weird idea of using apple as "tickets" for hiding in another NPC belly. Well I kinda explain a while ago but just scroll the comments and you will see what I mean by that

(+1)

I already saw that comment. Just like what the developer said, this idea you proposed is only applied to very specific NPC’s (And unfortunately, it only applies to Bella since she’s the only one that favors apples than anyone else), and adding more predators that favors apples wouldn’t change anything. In fact, it just makes Bella less unique than the other predators. If I were the developer of the game, I would say the exact same thing as well.

Plus, it’s locked behind enabling the Student Predator option, since without it, you can’t even hide in any other NPC’s belly (And the majority of NPC’s are students that cannot devour without the Student Predator option).

And even if it were the case of hiding one’s belly, digestion will still take place (Or the predator simply doesn’t let you out), making it feel like you’re willingly getting yourself digested more than hiding from an Apex Predator. There’s no non-digestion for the sake of hiding one’s stomach, unless specified by the developer themselves.

The only time where Apples are useful is if you were eaten with an apple in hand (Or in a case of Bella, giving you a chance of escape by taking the apple on your hand instead), and using apples to hide in someone else means you’re having less chances of escaping the Apex Predator.

(+1)

Oh no, I don't want to take Bella's uniqueness I love her, you are right we should think of another options, thank you for pointing that out🤙.

The map we have can be considrred "small" so I kinda understand the lack of hiding spots besides the bathrooms sometimes, but I guess it would be something to be still considered for another map.

(2 edits) (+1)

ok third time's the charm,i have finally beaten all nightmare modes and i was just trying to post a screenshot of every character with the map complete but idk how to do that so ye,ligeska took me 2 days

Satie was a pain for me... it took me a lot of time to beat her, just because shes so loud i always think shes nearby while she actually is on the floor beneath or above me, making me lose time and then the bell rang the 3rd time LMAO nightmare mode is gonna be a serious pain to beat...

(+4)

Ik you already said it hasnt been decided on yet, but are there any updates on if we will in fact get future predators? I've got a few ideas that I'd like to see if you're willing to hear them

Hey! Not the guy you are saking but... What ideas do you have?

(+1)

Some are a mix of what I've read before some i thought up, but I think a ghost pred who is very slow but can go throw walls and floors would be very cool, but it would have some issues to work around, or a weeping angel type pred where you need to look at it, occasionally when out of sight it would teleport elsewhere, I think a pred that can disguise itself as one of the prey would be sick, and I'd also like to see something like a harpy who would fly up fairly close and swoop down, which would be difficult to avoid but would add a unique playstyle.

Some of these probably can't be added because they might need a code overhaul (mainly the ghost) but I would love to see them or a variant show up in game at some point

Ghost sound hard to program and looks kinda OP but really cool, dont get me wrong.

The weeping angel actually is awesome and a fresh concept in general.

The harpy would be a good adition, but sound more like a harder version of Tulpy.

I don't catch too well the disguise mechanich. Do you mean like a pred that can disguise as another NPC? Sounds cool but can't relate to a monster/fantasy creature with that hability that can work on.

If I could choose... I will go for the ghost, I know its hard to programm but like he/she reminds to that little ghost enemy that got scared when you are looking at him from the Super Mario Series, kinda love it. Maybe the ghost can be easiest to escape from his belly because... Well... Things can go trought him.

The disguise thing I was thinking would have a true form and a fake form and the true form is a taller, more unkempt version of the usual prey students, whereas the fake looks like a normal student but slightly off, maybe with a smile or something. You would need to look out for suspicious behaviour, like a prey following you or trying to block your path and you would need to run before it shifts back into it's true form and devours you.

The harpy is more meant to be something really difficult to avoid, but fairly easy to escape from. It'd fly too high in the air to catch you normally, however when it gets close it swoops down to try and grab you, the swoop would be fast and tough to avoid, but would have an audio cue at the start and some lag at the end so you could escape, the main issue is potentially not noticing the harpy and trying to avoid it's swoop which is fast.

The ghost would have things that make it difficult but fairly easy at the same time. It would most likely wander floors and randomly fly through the ceiling, if it hears a sound it will immediately go to it and you would need a different strategy than just run and hide when being chased. However it would be quite slow and would make a constant sound, maybe a stereotypical moaning like in movies or a dripping like-sound with ectoplasm

I see now, maybe the characther that can fake to be an NPC would be like a shadow momnster or something but would be extremely hard in nightmare mode thanks to the fog effect it have.

The harpy attack is a really change of fresh air, we need more ways to avoid being devoured, maybe we could add some sort of "dash" move to avoide the attack  but also, in my opinion, the concept could fit to an arachne monster girl as well. It would walk on the ceiling all the time so it would be hard to see but do a little "tickticktick" sound when nearby, and when it saw you it it would fall on you and swallow you. I think that the arachne would have the slowlest time to digest you because it would enter in a sleep state after eating something.

Maybe it would be that the ghost will be actually just hunting for you and will not get distracted with another NPC... just to avoid more coding to it? I mean, kinda fits what a ghost would do, and maybe when it would be some sort of allie when we another pred is chasing form us.

(+2)

This game is so AMAZING!!!, it is possible to make a mobile version in the future???

(+1)

Possibly but I would have to see if I can fix the issues that come with it.

I can offer my help, i used to develop mobile games in the past using Unity, so if you ever run into issues i can assist you in solving some issues (optimizing graphics, controls, resolutions ETC.)

over all amazing game! Ive had some trouble beating Satie, but now i finally can go and beat her into nightmare mode...

(1 edit) (+2)

How is this game not Know already it’s a good game so far,I highly recommend this, better than other vore games I played👍👍 ,Keep it up…also like Bella’s design looks like Jimmy Nuetron’s mom for some reason

Bella's hairstyle was actually somewhat inspired by her hairstyle.

Keep doing what your doing also what will happen to those who payed the game here when you release it on steam?

(1 edit)

to be honest I think you should try new mechanics before adding new predators to make the game more interactible with the player so that he/she can enjoy, also gonna make a 2D animation based on this  game 👍👍

(+10)

I still miss the butts ; w; Ples bring back the booty. The green void beneath the skirt smites my heart and wracks my soul.

(+7)

Same. Plz bring back the booty

(+4)

Is that booty on the demo modelffor Bella? When it was removed? I want to see some footage of it... for research purposes...

sure you do

(4 edits) (+2)

It was never supposed to be like that. I never checked up the skirts so I never noticed it being a thing for awhile. I tried to make panties for them but it had a lot of glitches. Looking up it without panties is not something I want to add to this game.

I know that because of this, players do not get the see certain things about the predators, so I do want to try and make other outfits.

(2 edits) (+1)

I played the Pre-July build when it was brought to my attention before, and the skirt wasn’t really that bad from the previous build. Even if it was a “glitchy mess”, that doesn’t even ruin my playing experience (And not going to lie, I rather prefer the “glitchy mess” than a very awkward skirt model.)

To add, it’s incredibly difficult to look under the skirt to see the “glitchy mess”, unless if angled. But in regular gameplay, people can just ignore it lmao.

Unless if there are other alternative to finally be able to see what’s underneath, I respect your wishes.

(2 edits)

It would only affect players that want to look up the skirt so it should not affect the game play experience. The glitchy mess bothers me which is one reason why I said it was never supposed to be a thing.

Maybe it could only be seen if angled but this does not include different animations the models could get in the future or new predators. Tulpy would be exposed to it greatly. Also I would imagine satie as well since she is tall

(1 edit) (+1)

It's understandable, new outfits would indeed be good to overcome this problem. Maybe outfits with leggings or pants that highlight the shapes due to the progression of weight gain. Because in the meantime, the skirt that overflows on the body and do clipping after weight gain is not ideal in my opinion.

Thanks you for your good works by the way !

(+2)

I shall agree upon this very soul-wrenching request that has been demanded

(+9)

I would love to see a female teacher/professor in the role of Pred in the future!

that would be principal

If I'm remembering correctly. Bella is a teacher and Ligeska is the principal

Yes, Legieska "place" is supossed to be the principal office. But every pred spawn in the lunch room. Didnt know about Bella, probabbly the outfits, kinda make them lose the originam concept for them, except for Satien and Tulpy of course

(+5)

There's an apple basket in the nurse's office, so I assume Bella is the nurse.

Yeah, there are hints in the environment and their little lore blurbs, but Bella is the nurse and Ligeska is the principle. However, the school uniforms really make them look like students, so can't blame anyone for thinking they were (I thought so too at first).

Bella is the nurse? Honestly kinda fits too well the reason why she likes apples that much, but then another question is in mind. Why did the girls want to eat our main student?

I get it from Satie that she might have a crush on him, Tulpy because we probabbly make fun of her, for Legieska I think is self explanitory for having a literal cage on her office and Bella if it happens to be the nurse then... why? Because we stole the apples or perhaps she wants us to rest on the nurse room but we didn't want to?...

Or just happen that the preds are just hungry lmao

(+5)

It's directly said that there are unexplained disappearances around Deep Pit University and our character finds out the truth that people are being eaten and digested, so the pred is hunting us to keep it a secret

At least that is the story given and makes sense for Ligeska and Bella, but I like the idea with Satie

(2 edits)

2 of them are confirmed teachers, one is a known student and the other is a maybe, you can find associated items related to them when you click their profile in the pred selector or where they are in terms of the building lore, Bella is the nurse as she prefers apples but will eat people when none are available and has a empty apple basket in the nurse's office, Ligeska is the principle and you can see this because she has a cage where she keeps her hibernation prey in the principles office's closet, Satien might be the lunch lady because she magically keeps her appearance thin despite her being an obese misandrist who eats any male she finds even the slightest flaw with and there is a generic witch's cauldron in there, Tulpy is the only confirmed student as she was about to be considered a dropout after eating her first prey and taking a month to digest him

I like the latest update. I always think that apples have little effect. With or without apples, I can't escape other predators except fairy.

Any news about steam release?

(1 edit)

failed a review by steam team so it is delayed by 3 days. Will take 3 + 14 days minimum to be in the steam store.

Review was failed because I did something wrong. I think I uploaded files incorrectly.

What, why? Do they tell you why?

It is indeed strange, considering how many other weird fetish stuff make its way to their store page.

(+2)

Thank you so much for the update, it really shows improvement on the gameplay most likely the apple buff.

I tought they were gonna be removed but I was thinking of a whole rework to them in nightmare mode or even at any mode:

What if you could use the apples as tickets for hiding on the belly of another pred, just imagine like you are runing from Satie and while running you bump into Bella, you quickly press "F" with apple on her and you are safe from some time from Satie. Was just a flash idea but now testing the new apple effects, is not really necessary. Just happen to be a big fan of non-fatal vore lol. But yeah...

Again Thank you for your work 🌝🤙

(+1)

using a student predator as a way to hide is an idea I would keep in mind but the chances of me adding it are very slim especially since it would have to be a with a specific predator and none of the ones in the game currently will be able to do that.

Oh my, it really makes me happy to hear that. Yeah, I understand the limitations and I have in mind that it might not be added at all time soon, but thanks anyways. For having a specific characther you could use that hability I want to suggest something:

What about some sort of PE teacher or a jock himbo type man, that his description says something like: "He is currently on a diet and have been stopping eating other nerds like you just in order to have a good body... but he really can't say no to a juicy apple, so if you give him some... he might reward you"

Just another flash idea. Thanks for noticing me ❤️🌝

Here's a concept idea.

Player active ability's. Since hunger does nothing why not give it a purpose by making it a resource.

Also another thing I'll be using the student model as a form of measurement and for the sake of time and headache I'll call it units.

Anyway here we go

___________________________________________________________________________________

Students Ability name: Paper throw

Effect: throw paper forwards by 10 units

Side note: this Ability does nothing to the pred
___________________________________________________________________________________

Bella's Ability name: Barge.

Hunger cost 20%-40%

Effect: when activated hit the closest thing in front of you.

Hit effect: If you hit a student push them forward by 15 units. if they hit another student or a pred stun them, if they hit nothing the student will run away.

Hit effect: If you hit a door force it open but alert the pred no matter where they are on the map.

Stun duration: 5 seconds

Cooldown: 30 seconds

Side note this Ability won't open the exit door

___________________________________________________________________________________

Tulpy's ability name: Locate item

Hunger cost: 5%-10%-15%-30%

Effect: when activated select one of four items to find. paper, apple, unused key, book. then highlight the closest selected item.

Effect duration: 10 seconds

Cooldown: 15 seconds

Side note: Highlight items can be seen through walls

Side note: cooldown will start after the effect duration ends

___________________________________________________________________________________

Satie's ability name: Peer pressure

Hunger cost 40%

Cooldown 80 seconds

Effect: when activated within 5 units near a student force them to fallow you around for a short time before walking off.

Pred grab effect: if you were to be grabbed by the pred make the student that is fallowing you take the hit instead

Effect duration: 40 seconds

Side note: cooldown will start after the effects duration ends

Side note: can only have one fallower at a time

___________________________________________________________________________________

Ligeska's ability name: Snake eyes

Hunger cost: 40%

Cooldown 60 seconds

Effect: when activated Highlight where the pred is within 40 or 60 units from you. If you run during the effects duration end the effect

Effect duration: 10 seconds

Side note: cooldown will start after the effects duration
___________________________________________________________________________________

I really like Satie one, catch the description of her in game.

(+1)

I did want to make it accurate to their description; the issue was, well, there was not much lore to go off on.

I guess I could have done something with the apples for Bella and maybe something to do with fullness for Ligeska. but thought it would be a bit unless. It also misses the point of the whole active ability thing and lowering hunger.

(3 edits)

For the idea you had in a post you made previously, everything you said sounded like it could fit a ghost predator. There is a low chance that I can add that since I have an idea for two other predators.

As for this, I do not want to use hunger like it is a mana bar for abilites.

For the abilities, "Paper throw" and "Peer pressure" are abilities I might consider with some adjustments as regular things any student the player selects can do.

"Snake eyes" is an ability I planned to give to a certain student that I might make in the future.

"Barge" and "Locate item" can not be added.

(+6)

How about a "free look" button so you can look behind you or around while running away?

3rd person when? also are all predators playable?

(+2)

Only Satie and Bella are currently playable

anyway to unlock the characters with doing challenges ?

this was posted by That One Random. ________________________________________________________________
all you need to do for Bella is leave with the book in hand. You can do this in normal mode

To make it easier on yourself,  you can open the door to the exit then look for the book. or if you find the book drop it near the exit

________________________________________________________________

Satie, just win nightmare mode against her.

All i can say about Nightmare Satie, is get good...
________________________________________________________________

(+1)

there is a way to get hungry faster as pred?

Is there any benefit or con for playing as different characters?

(4 edits) (+4)

Okay so going in order.

Student

Pro: nothing.

Con: not sure if this is a con but the screen shakes while running. this doesn't happen with any of the other characters
------------------------------------------

Bella

Pro: High body volume. Meaning she can escape easier and the pred needs more room to eat her.

Pro: can eat students.

Con: Slow move speed.
-------------------------------------------

Satie

Pro: Fast move speed.

Pro: can eat students.

Con: She makes more noise.
---------------------------------------------

Side note: Both Satie and Bella are preds so they need to eat, if hunger reaches zero, they suffer a speed decrease.

How do you eat the students?

(+2)

When hunger reaches around 10%, walk up to student and press q

i'd like to have the other playable characters but i just can't seem to get them unlocked and i know how

Extra tip for the Satie's nightmare mode.

Sound whore like a moth*er f*cker, also make sure to abuse the current line of sight issues that come with corners because attempting to run a way for a moderate to long distance is futile with her.

(+2)

Hello Ghost =)

I like your profile photo of Satie. Would you mind sharing it, please?

my only question is whether there will be Weight-gain after predators finish digesting added to the game at some point

(+2)

It's in the game already

Hey Ghost not to be annoying but, do you need some help with your game?

(+4)

No but if I ever do then I would make a post about it.

Understood, If you need any help I'm willing

A pretty stupid question but will this game be on steam? I really wanna play this bc it looks so fun!

(+10)

I am trying to get it on steam but the process is giving me trouble. Right now I am waiting for some review by the steam team. If I get past that then it will take 2 weeks to be in the steam store.

(1 edit) (+7)

The struggle mechanic is genuinely soul crushing. I just end runs if I get caught at this point.

(+1)

If you eaten it's basically game over, the struggles are RNG based just in case the game decides to give you a second chance

(+12)

While that is true I am experimenting with something that might change it from being "basically game over".

I don't mind the current mechanics, since I understand that you aren't supposed to be caught, but I'm curious what you have in mind!

(+4)

you should make discord sever it would be so cool! to see more updates

(1 edit) (+5)

fun game, need more characters or maybe other things to do, more digestion progression/ pre-digestion scene or something neat like. make them eat more than  one prey at a time would be cool prob more camera shots or like 3rd person would be cool

(+1)

I'm pretty aure this a bug

(+2)

I will fix this in the next update.

Also just out of curiosity, on the normal mode, does the predator get hungry at all and if so, how does it work? Do they seek out any student they can find or how does that work?

(1 edit) (+3)

They do get hungry after I want to say 4-5 minutes. As for seeking out food, I think they eat whoever they see first.

I'll need to double check this later so take what i said with a pitch of salt

(+3)

No need to double check. What you said is accurate.

Do you have to beat certain characters or do certain things in order to unlock anything? I read the Guide and it made me think there were options you could play around with and stuff but I'm not seeing them. Just wanna be sure I'm not missing anything, thanks in advance for any answers

(1 edit) (+3)

There are two unlockable characters to play as Bella and Satie.

To unlock Bella you need to escape against her while holding the book.

To unlock Satie you need to escape against her in nightmare mode.

PS: not sure if you need the book or not for Satie

Really? I tought I could unlock the fairy or the Lamia too, I really don't want to survive Satie even worst in nightmare mode T_T

Did anyone trigger the moment when a student reveal our location to ligeska? i didn't get that yet for some reason

(+1)

she does it pretty often, but she has to be near a student who has also seen you, then she investigates that area but more often it's used if a student sees you duck into a room while she's chasing you so it's not entirely an obvious situation to the player in the moment (also in nightmare she generally just eats the student so it fires far less frequently by proxy of them being wiped out within the first 8 minutes)

Thank you for this explanation

When she passes by students she has a chance to "talk/influence" them. When they are influenced, they will point at you when they see you. Ligeska will know your location when they do this.

Being testing a bit. Nightmare mod is awesome, is really challenging and I love it, probabbly my favourite so far (I havent completed ine yet but is not really frustrating at all). Maybe the fact that all keys are white mess with locating them and distinguished with the floor or walls at the distance but I found it fair enough, because is kinda fun confusing them with paperballs at the distance.

Could I ask whats the difference between a red and a green apple (besides the color)?

from testing, red apples increase digestion rate and indigestion by a moderate amount (and while unconfirmed it seems to have minor boosts to weight gained by preds when they digest other things like students and paper as well as other apples)

green apples decrease digestion and have a low indigestion increase meaning you have more RNG time but less chance of RNG indigestion compared to red apples

crazy apples (purple) are rare but increase indigestion by a substantial amount and add a crazy modifier to the pred, making them shake a lot and be unable to eat/keep anything down while the apple is digesting so using one when you are about to leave with the book is a good idea (but with the RNG nature you can still fail if you are in a pred's stomach with this apple as she'll probably vomit everything else out first and leave you in there for 5 minutes and lose all mass to get a vomit RNG tick in the indigestion RNG ticks)

Yep, Just got eaten with a purple apple in hand and with two students already catch by the pred, RNG really sucks T_T

Sometimes the collision is really clunky, like Im right behind someone and the pred still swallow me instead, have you tested that part? Also thank your for the explanation

the easiest way to explain that is the pred uses a hitbox right in front of themselves to pick what to eat and the pred also has their "eyes" somewhere in their chest/neck for normal girls and the bottom of the breasts for the fairy thus they loses sight of you if you are directly behind a student at a distance allowing them to "pivot" around a student while searching your last known location (this means she is not actually chasing you while you are behind a student, merely in aggressive investigation mode while the student acts like a wall she saw you go around), the easiest way is to wait till the pred is almost on you on one side then switch to the other for more success in getting them eaten

ie: sit slight right of the student and once she starts chasing sit in the middle, if she loses sight of you then peak on the right again until you are sure she can see you over the other student, then move left to keep the student directly between the two of you for them to be swallowed...it takes a bit to get it in your head but once you do it just becomes muscle memory

below is a diagram of how the pred works if she spots you at the 104/105 elbow on the first floor from 3 different spots, red is her with the red triangle being her vision and light blue being your last known location to her, blue is your current position if you duck back to cover with orange being her target location based on what she saw, the green dot is a student and the funny triangle is a representation of how a student can block her vision at a distance leading to her pivot around them and nab you if you dont pivot to either of the fins at the last second while standing directly behind, so it's much easier to just sit on one of the light blue dots until she is close then pivot to the other dot

Bro yor are a genius, its really handful to know this. Well unless the other student start to run away form the pred too and most of the times they are even faster than me haha.

I just know this little trick about that if you press the Right click you crouch, and for the Left click you run. Don't know if it was intented but I don't see a text in game that tells you

I love this game; the stealth aspect is great, and nightmare mode is also amazing. Though the only problem I have with this game is the struggle mechanic, holding down F is a bit boring. and also the RNG aspect is not that great. Maybe make it use the mouse movement or the WASD keys instead and make a bar that you need to fill up to escape. Besides that, this game is great. I can't wait for the next update.

Any chance this game goes free in the future or no?

Its so cool, good job dude. You deserve it.

My only problem could be that the "struggle" system is really hard, if I got caught Im bsaically dead, just something to be considered

I really like this game, I like the art style it goes for and the stealth is fun to interact with

I only really have 2 criticisms with the current state of the game:

1. paper is effectively a useless resource that could be used in far more interesting ways than just a tiny passive fullness increase, having it be swallowed like you shoved it down their throat instead of them swallowing you would be an easy usage, giving the pred a speed boost after they are done to emulate being pissed off would balance it pretty well I think, and/or having it be a throwable so you can distract a pred by making them go after a noise farther away from you

2. where vore intersects with normal gameplay... where do I even begin, it's unintuitive first and foremost as well as all around unresponsive.  Holding F and praying the RNG creates an indigestion tick AND THEN hoping the RNG creates a vomit tick rather than a burp tick is just not fun and painful to deal with, it'd be much better to have an indigestion gauge based on the current stuff in their stomach then you got to make up the difference with some kind of interactions like QTE wasd.  The current system promotes a gameplay loop of just quitting the second you get grabbed because you can be stuck in a pred for 8 minutes with 3 other students and fail to get out after 7 indigestions(while holding F the entire time)due to RNG... it's just not worth being in the stomach if you are trying to play the game like a game

Short clip of weight gain on Bella. She had already digested one and she digested two more in this clip.
